LONDON – Couture Fair, a launch pad for the best emerging fashion designers, has moved the launch of its inaugural London event to an early summer slot instead of rainy April as originally scheduled.

Talented fashion designers looking to kick-start their careers will have a unique opportunity to sell their work and rub shoulders with industry professionals at the inaugural Couture Fair event in Shoreditch, London, on the 7th, 8th and 9th of June 2013.

Couture Fair is an exciting new project set up to promote independent brands and emerging fashion and connect them directly with discerning buyers, media and retailers.

The event will be held at the beautiful Calvert 22 gallery in London, offering the public and fashion professionals the chance to meet with designers in luxurious surroundings and see their work before it hits the mainstream. Their creations will also be for sale on www.couturefair.com.

“Even the best independents get sore knuckles from knocking on the doors of the fashion establishment. Our goal is to throw the doors wide open – and give fashion lovers direct access to the big names of tomorrow, before they’re big,” said Couture Fair Director Jelena Marinovic.
